Frequently Asked Questions

PandaCard is the most recent virtual group card solution, allowing unlimited people to sign it electronically from different locations and even contribute to gift collections for special occasions.

Experience the joy of creating a PandaCard at no cost! You only pay £8.90 when you're completely satisfied and ready to schedule and send your Group PandaCard. Our single, all-inclusive PandaCard comes packed with premium features: stunning fonts, beautiful backgrounds, and seamless functionality – all designed to make your messages truly special.

Cost Sharing Made Easy

You can also share the PandaCard's cost with your group! If your PandaCard includes a gift collection pot, you can easily deduct the card's cost from the collection pot. It’s just a quick check on your PandaCard options!

We never delete cards that have been purchased. In the event where the service becomes unavailable, we'll send you a PDF with each of the PandaCards you've received or organised.

Enabling a collection is free for any card, but all payments must be secured and processed through our partner, which is not free, and we charge a 5% fee to cover expenses and enable group gift collections. Everyone who contributes is aware of the fee. For example, if 20 people each contribute £5, the collection pot will have a total pot of £100 minus the processing fee of £5. The recipient will receive £95.00.

At PandaCard, you won't need to register for an account! If you decide to create a PandaCard, we'll create an account associated to the email provided for the PandaCard. We'll send you the Admin Card and the Invite link to this email address and you can use this email adddress to login.

Please note that the email account should be accessible to ensure you receive the code promptly, wherever you are.

Each time you log in with your email address, you are sent an email containing a security code that you must enter to verify your email address and access your PandaCard account as an organiser.

Each time you log in from an unrecognized device, we will ask you to verify your device to ensure no bad actors will have access to your PandaCard account.

A secret verification code will be sent via the email connected to your PandaCard account. Simply enter it upon login and click on Verify to log in to PandaCard.

If you aren't able to find the code in your email, here are a couple of things you can try.

1. Search for no-reply@PandaCard.co.uk

This is where the verification codes will be sent from. If you search for this address you will be able to filter for the message and find the verification code more easily:

2. Search in Spam/Promotions/Other folders

Some email services might filter these emails and put them into different inboxes. Make sure you always check your Spam folder.

If you are using Gmail, you should check the Promotions tab and if you are using Hotmail, you should check the Others folder.

Nothing in spam/trash?

This could be an issue with your email provider, or your email could be on a suppression list, which can happen if an email we send bounces. Contact us for help and if this keeps happening you should change your login email to something else.

Security is our top priority, so we decided to use passwordless authentication at PandaCard. To log into any user account, we use one-time-use codes or "magic links." When a user clicks on one of these links from their own email, they will be able to log in directly. It functions similarly to them receiving an email containing a one-time-use code, returning to the PandaCard login page, and entering the code, but without actually performing those steps.

To create a PandaCard, for example, you'll need to provide an email address where you'll receive an email with two links associated with your newly created card. You will be automatically authenticated when you click on the links in your email.

You can create the PandaCard for free by choosing the pay later option. You won't need to pay anything until you schedule or send the PandaCard. You can also chose to deduct the cost of the card from the collection pot if one is available.

You can be an organiser behind the scenes and not pay a dime as long as the card has a collection. You can make the card and enable Gigt Card collection, which will be used to deduct the card's cost. If as  the organiser of the card, you do not intend to leave a personal message in the card, you do not need to contribute to the collection.

Only the people with whom you share the link have access to your card.

If you order a card, you will be assigned an "Organiser" user account. People you are inviting to sign the card or contribute to the Collection Pot will be assigned a "Contributor' account.

As the 'Organiser' you'll be able to access a card management dashboard with features available only to you. The Link for the management dashboard or your Login details are non-transferable and will not be disclosed to any other person.

The contributor can access and sign the card or contribute to the collection using the "Invite" link.

The person that receives the PandaCard and/or the Gift Collection will be assigned a Recipient account for this card.

In the Admin dashboard you can select to download the PDF version of the PandaCard. In future releases, we'll be looking to provide printed versions of the PandadCard too!

Enjoy the PandaCard platform at no cost to you! While we keep the platform free, we do incur some transaction fees from our trusted payment partner, Stripe, along with necessary taxes. Stripe’s transaction fees are minimal, ranging from 3.65% to an average of just 5%. Additionally, we occasionally face extra charges for refunds and fraudulent transactions, plus our operational costs. But don’t worry – every fee is transparently broken down and displayed for each contribution payment, so you always know exactly where your money goes.

The collection pot is attached to the PandaCard and it can only be redeemed by the recipient. You can send the PandaCard to the receiver once everyone has finished signing it and contributing to the money collection. It can be redeemed for a prepaid debit card or a gift card of the recipient's choice.

As millions of businesses of all sizes – from startups to large enterprises – we use Stripe's software and APIs to accept payments, send payouts, handle security and manage our business online. Payments are securely processed by Stripe and our system never access any card details and we do not store them.

Contributions to the Gift Pot are allowed from any part of the world. They will be collected in the selected currency for your collection.

As the Card organiser, you can set certain limits for all contributions but we do not have any pre-set limits when it comes to contributions. However, suspicious and large amounts of collection money are being monitored for security reasons. If your transaction is suspicious, it will be flagged and we'll lock the collection payments into your card until your card collection is reviewed.

There's no limit on how many people can sign the PandaCard and each card will display the number of contributors at the top!

If you want to invite several people from a specific public social group to sign a PandaCard, you can do so as long as the intended recipient does not have access to or see it, as you will lose the element of surprise. However after the PandaCard is sent, the recipient can decide to share a public link to it at their discretion.

When you send the PandaCard, you'll be asked for the recipient's details: name and email address. An email address is required as we use this to link all their recieved PandaCards in one place. However, if you not have their email address, you can lock the PandaCard and copy to clipboard the recipient link and share it on your preferred platform: SMS, Whatsapp, Slack, Teams or any other chat solution.

When you create a PandaCard and enable the collection, you can choose whether to make the collection mandatory for all people who leave a message or not. You can also specify a minimum or maximum/fixed amount that each person must contribute.

With every PandaCard purchased, we'll contribute a percentage to Tree company TBC and support global reforestation. Tree company TBC is the world's leading reforestation charity and their mission is to help the environment by planting trees. Trees restore biodiversity and make the world a better place for all of us.

Collection is, indeed, optional! If the collection option is disabled, the PandaCard will only contain messages with GIFs and photos. If the PandaCard organiser has made the collection mandatory, it can only be disabled by them.

When you create a PandaCard, you have the option of specifying a date and time when the card will be locked and contributors will no longer be able to contribute or leave messages. If the Lock date and Time field is left blank then the collections can be processed until the PandaCard is delivered to the intended recipient. The Lock date and time can be updated any time in the Admin dashboard.

We currently offer pots in the following currencies: GBP, USD, EUR, and INR. Even if your home currency is different, you can still contribute to the pot. We plan to add more currencies in the near future.
